Players can choose from four main characters, each specialized in a basic attribute, providing them with an edge over others. Careful strategizing is essential as players decide how to approach each battle.

To enhance their characters' abilities, players can equip them with special equipment, adding an extra layer of depth to the game. Unlike many fighting games that reward players with endless currencies, Monkey Showdown focuses on providing rewards that genuinely matter, such as exclusive equipment.

When a player wins a battle, they can steal one piece of equipment from their defeated opponent and seal it with a color code. The defeated player is then given 24 hours to crack the code and retrieve the stolen item. This unique feature adds an exciting element of challenge and competition to the game.
